The Retribution Ring.
Devoted to the WAR in Ukraine - ruzzian aggression against my home country, this ring is the hardest piece I have ever made so far. It was a challenge to finish, not because of its complexity, but because of deep emotions I experienced during the process.
There was pain, fear, anger, hate, confusion, and frustration swirling around me, making it the most emotionally charged piece I've ever created.
I've never experienced these intense emotions before. I've never hated so much! Have you experienced such intense hatred? It can be hard for others to understand until they face a similar loss. For a lovely, tender and charming girl, that's when you may feel like a monster, consumed by the desire for revenge and losing trust in the world. It's a deeply sad experience.
The whole world around me that I've been building all my life, my love and years that I contributed to my small world was destroyed at one moment. It's like being at the edge and suddenly being forced to take a step into the unknown. But it wasn't your decision to make. You were pushed into it.
I have been unable to complete this ring due to my own emotional struggles. It has taken me two years to finish it, but I have been hesitant to share it with others because I do not like to spread my pain. My desire is to share love and support. Last two years I lacked the strength and will to continue living and pretending to be happy. But now, I am ready to share it with you. And my intention is not to bring sadness or anger, but rather to show the fragility of our individual worlds. We should strive to nurture and support each other, spreading love in this world instead of destroying it.
So, let's move to design specifics.
If you've ever been to Ukraine or worked with a team of Ukrainians, you'll know that we are an incredibly welcoming people. Our culture values openness, kindness, and care for others.
This ring's symbolism reflects this, with the holes representing prepared graves for those who come to our land to harm us. The coffin and graves depicted in the design serve as a reminder of our hospitality and our resilience against those who seek to do us harm.
Welcome to our Hospitable Graveyard
